[FIXED] Sims will autonomously stop reading books before they're finished

I think me too, though I need to test tonight without mods. But yesterday I purchased and installed Strangerville, started a new save, and discovered that my newly created sim will cancel reading as soon as anything is queued behind that action, even if it’s just the autonomy that queues something.

8 YEARS and this is still an issue! The fix is gonna end up being in a $40 DLC at this point istg
