[OPEN] Sims are no longer interacting with each other in bars etc

If you think that's bad, you should see what I encountered in restaurants where I noticed this lack of non-interactivity. Not only were people who were eating together at the same tables not talking normally to each other (i.e. staring at each other while waiting for food) some are even RELATED and families within the same house and not even conversing with each other in the background. You know something's wrong when not even familial related sims stopped socializing in the background.

I'm noticing this now as a well that even related Sims aren't talking to each other like they were before. I thought at first it was just something related to relationship culling, but I've turned that off completely in my game. Plus I'm seeing this affect my played Sims when I'm in a different household.

I'm just not sure what's going on. It's not lag, at least for me, because Sims are doing other things - they're just not talking like they used to. It seems like Sims in clubs in a gathering, so far, aren't affected.

I think I might need to set up several different clubs with just socializing, maybe, as an activity to help combat this problem. It would be really helpful if someone from Maxis could check this out and see what's going on. I'm so confused about this.

I only started noticing this when I actually paid attention to the lack of socialising at a restaurant; apparently it started sometime after the pre-Seasons patch and I simply wasn't paying attention to it then.

Mine aren’t interacting anywhere honestly. Even clubs that say they should interact. Everyone just sits in the same room and makes weird clear their throat noises and things. No one talks to eachother, everyone’s socials drops. It’s progressively gotten worse by each patch I want to say. It doesn’t matter if it’s in their home or out somewhere. No one is talking.

Interesting insight on that one too; every time I go into a household the sims there usually have quite low Social when I come back to them, probably due to the fact the game isn't making them Socialise enough when I'm not playing them. Coincidence much? I think not.

Another thing I noticed is that the sims are no longer going for swims in a bar with a pool, haven't tested other places with a pool yet. I spent the whole day and night at a bar with a pool and not a single sim went for a swim or talked with each other. The only thing they did was either sit at the bar and drink their drink, or mindlessly watch the TV.

As you can see, my Sim is at the Blue Velvet in Willow Creek, and even though she keeps autonomously trying to interact with other Sims, the other Sims in the bar are not interacting with each other whatsoever. You'll occasionally see two Sims greet each other, but after that, they won't speak. This was even happening with husband and wife, Bjorn and Clara Bjergsen. They hugged and kissed each other a couple of times but didn't say another word to one another after that.
