[OPEN] Sim not using counters in kitchen to prep food

This is still an issue.  Can't use counters in bathrooms because Sims will walk all the way to other side of the house to prep food on a bathroom counter rather than the kitchen counters that are NEXT to the fridge or stove.

It also happens with SINKS --- Sims walk all the way to a whole other sink to wash dishes rather than the one that is in the kitchen!

That can be fixed with a mod if you're open to using them - Don't Wash Dishes Where You Angry Poop

I'm experiencing the same. My sim will bypass 5 open kitchen counters to go to the upstairs bathroom counter to cook. I put stuff on the bathroom counters thinking that would stop them because it's blocked, and they still do it. It's annoying.

Absolutely STILL happening... whether or not I have MODS installed.  I remove my MCCC and TOOL mods and it STILL happens.  I know there is space on the counters by the stove to do the job in, unblocked (there is nothing on them or above them).  So, I don't understand the path logic.

same here. this bug brother me so much!! my sims will go all the way to the top floor to use a toilet counter...

Having this bug as well. Some sims, though not every sim, will only use another counter on another floor when making a salad. Instead of either one of the two perfectly fine counters next to the fridge. It's almost like some sims have their favorite counter. And no, they don't have likes or dislikes set for decor.

It's basically the sink bug all over again. Of course you can just put decor on any counter they shall not use for preparing food, still though, just fix the bug, guys. And I don't wanna see a "set counter type" action. That's not a fix, that's a dirty workaround. And we would not have this bug anymore, if you would have done an actual fix on the sink bug.
