Hey there, I wanted to confirm that my game has this issue as well. I don't use mods at all and my game is up to date (game version 1.38.49.1020).

All regular bathtubs allow for Mud Bath and Bath with Soaks. However, ALL combo bath/showers do not have this option.

As for pets/toddlers, I can bathe either without issue in all tubs and tubs/shower combos.

Which is a shame since the tub that came with vampire seems perfect for this option!

It's not a game breaker, but it does limit builders and players.

I am having the same issue.

no soaks or mud baths in the shower/tub combos

no problems with bathing pets or children.

no mods or cc

I have same issue. I thought it was part of the game that you just couldn't do it in shower/bath tub combos because i have never had the option.

Skyfri_Himmel, you are right that the option has never been there to begin with but it was reported as an issue as it isn't logical that we can't use them in shower/tub combos but we can in standalone tubs. It limits your options when creating bathrooms as you have to choose between a tub only so that you can use the soaks, or a combo where you can't.

I didn't realize this was a glitch. I assumed it was because the combo shower/tubs are listed in the shower section.

I have more of an issue that a Citrus Soak costs 30 simoleons.

Don't know why they haven't added the option. It would be nice if they would. Some of my sims houses and apartments don't have room in the bathrooms for both the shower and the tub.

This has been the case for me since always, since spa day was released. I just figured it wasn't an option for the combos. Am I mistaken has it just been broken this whole time?

No, it was never an option to begin with. It just doesn't make logical sense that Sims can use soaks in stand-alone tubs but not in combos. For Sims to make use of them you have to have a dedicated bath just for that function.
