I am having the same issue ![]()
I took all my mods out so I could play Lovestruck for a few weeks as it was intended. After the initial update and once LS EP was downloaded the only issue I had was sims being mean. Since the hotfix update I cannot save my game. I have to use the 'save as' option and create a new save, which is a pretty crappy workaround because every time I open the game I have to spend time deleting all the previous saves. This is a game breaking bug (what's the point in playing a life simulation if you can't save your progress?) If EA don't give this problem the action it deserves I will be shouting from the rooftops about their complete lack of customer care (proven in all the things they have broken/not bothered to fix for years.) I am one very annoyed customer.

Platform: PC - Steam
Is the issue able to be encountered again? And how so? After saving once, I wasn't able to save again after. I'm playing in the Discover University area and have a sim going through university as we speak. Other people are on completely different worlds having the same issues.
Bug occurs 100% of the time, have not been able to be able to sit down and actually play the game since this started.
Language: English
What do you expect to see? Being able to save properly. It doesn't even save when going to a new lot or saving and returning to the main menu. No option of saving works.
Mods or CC: None
Did the issue begin after a specific patch or change you made to the system? Not that I'm aware of, I have auto update on for most of my games including The Sims 4.
What is happening, and what changes I've made to try and fix it.
After looking into this I had seen a similar issue that happened back in 2022, which was having issues from Wedding Stories and Neighborhood Stories. The fixes that applied to me were turning off Join a Career in Neighborhood stories, and that did not work.

As of today I have been receiving the Error Code: 0 in my game and I am not sure what is causing it? I am hoping this is just a bug that the Sims Team can fix soon? I really don't want to lose my Not So Berry save as I have just started Gen 10!

Today I tackled this problem with a calmer head (apologies for yesterday's rant!). I removed all my saves including the new vanilla one I started playing to explore LoveStruck, deleted the Localthumbpackage file, cleared cache, cleared the cache and ran an app recovery on the EA App. I did a thorough clean up on my PC. (I'm fastidious about my PC anyway, but figured you should rule everything out.) Opened the EA App and repaired the game with completely clean files. I started a brand new save and saved about 10 mins into play, it worked and the EC 0 didn't pop up. I then closed it all down and re-installed MCCC, started up the new save and played for about an hour saving every 15 mins. It still worked. Thought I'd let you know. I haven't tried accepting an invite to the lounge to see if the dreaded EC123 pops up, and there are still no gallery sims on Cupid's Corner but at least I can play. I'm not sure what it will mean for my long term generational games, more testing to come.

Same here. Save error 0 Only happens when my sim is in Uni. Uni is really broken for me. Hopefully we get another hotfix for Uni.

Same.....I can play for very little time and save, but past that point Save Error shows up. I've tried Disabling the mods, playing with Direct x 11, playing without, I even went through the trouble of repairing the game. It's still happening. I love wasting time ![]()
