[OPEN] New Roof Types flicker at join to Original Roof Types

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Create a rectangular room. Select one of the new roof types (from the 11/7/17 patch) - in my case, I chose octagonal to place at one end of the structure. Copy that roof to the other end of the structure. Draw a gabled roof in between the two and connect them so that it looks like a continuous roof (same height). Note flickering around the areas where the roofs join (you will see it in both live and build mode).
What happens when the bug occurs? Portions of the roofing continuously flicker and/or flicker as you move the camera.
What do you expect to see? Roofs should join seamlessly with no flickering.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. New since 11/7/17 patch.

Above video shows the issue.
