Product: The Sims 4
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? n/a
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Draw a room (say 3x3). Go up a level and draw another room that is a shorter length than the first, (say 2x3). Place a column (other than those listed below) on the 2x3 corner and one directly below it on the 3x3 wall where they will intersect.
What happens when the bug occurs? The columns are offset from each other and do not align. All columns display this issue *except*: Structurally Sound, Architectural Spines, Annesley Square Column, and Buenaventura Column.
What do you expect to see? Columns should align across levels regardless of whether they are drawn at corners, middle of the wall, etc.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. New since the 11/7/17 patch.

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for letting me know, Crin.
Any update on when this might get corrected? This was posted quite a while back. I can't believe they still haven't fixed it.
