★★★ Newbie

I haven’t posted on these forums before but I was having this problem after I accidentally set my lighting on Medium. I play with everything on Low. Once I set my lighting back to Low it went away. I don’t have Get Famous installed. It might be possible to play with everything on Very High except lighting but I wouldn’t know, my computer would probably melt before I had a chance to see if it worked.

Not just a Mac problem, I play on a Mac and a PC gaming laptop and both have this glitch. They've had it since before Get Famous and I've never had Mods or CC so that can't be a cause.

Just noticed that when the sim is in bed it's lengthways.

@Fraser165 thanks for posting that you're getting this on Windows too. Which graphics card do you have?

Been a while since I played on the PC but a brief look shows it's been fixed. The video card is a Nvidia Gtx 1060 though, and I can tell you for sure there was a while where the sim's shadows were just the lines.
Can confirm the Mac computer still has the issue though.

I have had the same issue for months. I did notice it still here within the last couple of weeks, but am not sure of dates or time period for sure.

I'm also having this issue has anyone found a solution that doesn't corrupt anything else in the game, I've tried most of the things suggested in this thread and it either didn't work, or changed something in my game. (Exp. Laptop mode made my sims eyelashes weird..)

Yes, unfortunately, this still is a problem. 😕 Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

still an issue for me as well! I don't think I should have to play on laptop mode or lower my settings to just play my game. I'm just sad about it.
