Ayo! I noticed a graphic issue while testing out Get Famous: My Sims cast a weird shadow when being indoors. It's like a line which shouldn't be there.
Could you take a look at it as well, @Bluebellflora? Maybe it's a Mac-specific problem.
My specs:
Model: MacBook Pro (Retina, 15', Mid 2014)
Operating System: OS X High Sierra 10.13.6
CPU: 2,5 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory: 16 GB RAM 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

here's an example of the bug that shows up with the latest update. i tried repairing my game and it still shows up even after doing that. i only use a few mods which i've uninstalled/reinstalled, and i've tried adjusting the graphics but nothing helped. can someone help me with this?

Hi @taradrew
have you tested this without any mods installed as well ?
Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199
You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.
Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.
The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
Good Luck

I'm not seeing this in my game. Definitely recommend following Crin's instructions, as it looks mod/CC related to me.

I am also having this issue, even after removing all my cc and following the "reset to factory settings without reinstalling" procedure and repairing the game, then starting a new save. From what I can tell it is only happening to Sims and pets while inside a building.

I'm having this problem and I also have a Mac but don't have Get Famous, so it could be you're right and it is a Mac-specific issue with the latest patch.

Yes, this is happening in my game too. Good spot!
I tried in a couple of worlds, no CC, different lights, different windows, different floors, same thing. It always seems to be to the right of the Sim if you are viewing from the road side of the lot, either parallel to or at an angle. It only happens indoors.
Testing I've tried that doesn't fix it:

I've merged these two threads together as it appears to be a Mac issue.
