Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.58.63.1210
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansions, all game packs, my first pet stuff, fitness stuff, vintage glamour stuff, romantic garden stuff, perfect patio stuff, luxury party stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open game, change edge smoothing settings to low.
What happens when the bug occurs? Low edge smoothing has jagged edges. Medium causes screen glitching and long load times.
What do you expect to see? Some difference between no and low edge smoothing. Screen to not glitch on medium, load speeds to be normal on medium.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Issue appeared after downloading 1.58.63.1210
After updating to the most recent version edge smoothing doesn't work properly. Attached are screenshots with the game running with no edge smoothing, low edge smoothing, and medium smoothing. I don't have screenshots from before the most recent patch but low edge smoothing was my default and it used to look more like the medium screenshot than the current low one.
I'm also having issues with medium edge smoothing, it causes the bottom of my screen to glitch out although unfortunately I haven't been able to get a picture of that. When I set the game to medium edge smoothing it also took unreasonably long to load into my lot, probably about 5x as long as it usually takes. I was looking at the loading screen for a solid minute at least.
I haven't tested high edge smoothing.

I’m having similar issues since the latest update on my 2014 Mac Mini. The glitch on the bottom is nerve racking.

I'm a mac user - also having this issue since the last update. I have my edge smoothing set to medium and I get heavy glitching over the UI bar (no matter what size it is set to)

Yes mods and CC. I removed all and part to see if it fixed the problem but same issue. No antivirus running. And I didn’t know about repair so I could try.
