[OPEN] Lock door for specific Sims not working [ Edited ]

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? By locking doors for a specific Sim
What happens when the bug occurs? I lock the door for a specific Sim and they can still enter
What do you expect to see? Sims not being able to enter
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Hello,

Since we don't have the possibility to build apartments, I built a duplex and decided to control 2 families simultaneously (ambitious, I know). I simply decided to lock the front door of each family to the members of the other family, but they often decide to go eat or do their homework in the other apartment and enter through the door they shouldn't have access to.

Anyone else having trouble with the "lock for specific Sim" option? Is there a workaround I could try?

@cabcats Hi, i think this can be easily fixed by sending the sims back out of room, then lock the door again and specify who you want to keep out, so that could be a certain sim who's name will show on the pie menu. I have had this problem with locking the door to, and had to do the same thing.

@cabcats Do you have issues with just that front door or also any other door ?

Have you tried if the door is maybe placed the wrong way ?

@cabcats You can place doors two ways. Like turn them 180°

I have this issue too, I used "lock for specific" sim on the master bathroom door in the parents' room since it has the only tub that doesn't work off the grid and is for the parent to bath the babies or relax, and I didn't want my child sim using up all the water reserve. I then go to bathe the baby and the child is napping in the bath even though I clicked the bathroom door an clicked "lock for specific" sim and chose her. I even check if the door was still locked for her and it was.
