1.71.86.1020 patch/update has not fixed this either. Decided I'll probably just mod it back in - even if I dislike modded gallery items (= far less downloads).

[Admin - removing third party link] has the fix.

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.40
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except nifty knitting, and my first pet packs
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Enter build/buy go to tall doors
What happens when the bug occurs? Cantina door (tall door) that came with journey to batuu pack vanished from game after snowy escape update
What do you expect to see? The door that came in the pack that I paid for
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes

This problem hasn't been solved for at least 4 updates now I'd like to see it solved in the next update.

Hi @seig5799 Below are the notes from a mod [Cantina Door Fix (Star Wars)] by  endermbind  at  Mod the Sims who has made a mod/cc fix for adding it back to your game (cc use can be quite useful, and if only a few, easy to track/update when necessary) So, with this you can again use the door in builds, just search at modthesims for it.

In November 2020 EA/Maxis decided to disable the Cantina Door completely from Journey to Batuu with patch 1.68.154.1020.
By February (patch 1.71.86.1020) the Cantina Door has not returned to the game yet, hence this patch.

The Grand Entrance Cantina Door has been made available in Build Mode again in the Tall Door sort.

Fixed in Patch 1.75.125/ 1.42
