Twins infants spawning outside of home after loading back in

No it’s not only twins! It’s happening to me as well with my infant boy

Having the same issue here. I have a newborn and an infant and whenever my (adult) sim comes back home from travelling, the infant is spawning in a random spot, far away from the house.

Also, I noticed that when my sim is travelling, the infant is set to improve its skills instead of "taking care of itself" and so the needs are going down and there is no option to change that.

This is also happening to me, whenever my sims come back from traveling, even though I left my infant at home with a family member, my infant spawns outside of the house, sometimes in front of the house, sometimes blocks away and always in bad shape, tired, hungry, needs to use their diaper, abandoned etc. and it takes forever to get the infant back to the house. This is unacceptable, the infant should be in the crib where I left it !  Not on its own at the local library!

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Acquire an infant. 2. Attend a festival, or put an infant in day care.
What happens when the bug occurs? The infant either isn't returned to the proper location with the rest of the family, or (daycare) is returned to a random location rather than the home.
What do you expect to see? If the family traveled somewhere with an infant, then the infant should return at the same time as the family, and to the same location. If the infant was put in daycare, the infant should reappear in the home.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I'm posting this to see if other people have had the same problem; if so, I'll try to isolate it and drive it specifically.

Twice now I've taken an Infant off-lot: to a festival, and automatically put in daycare when I went on a date.  Each time this happened, the infant did not travel in a group with the family.   For the festival I had to have a parent pick up the infant and then travel home.   When the infant returned from daycare, it was deposited on a random lot in the world  where it lived.

I also had problems (which I can't remember; again, if other people have this problem I'll do my best to repeat and isolate it) trying to take in infant on vacation to Granite Falls.

Found my werewolf infant at The Howling Point alone under Full Moon.
Nice story twist but then she teleports randomly to different spawn points each time I load the household (I play on rotation).
Weirdly, other infants I play in this save are not affected.

I have this as well ! Here is my Butler running to my infant once my Sims travelled home. There were more issues but to keep with the topic of this thread, I had twins. One was stuck right outside the house on the pavement and this one in the picture spawned on a random lot.

Edit: I should note that I had 'baby proofing' on the door and my Sims could not take infants inside until I removed the baby proofing. I ended up having to travel with both infants and back home again to get them inside the house.

So I let my Butler go to see if it would help and no it didn't. 

Scenario 2 - Sim 1 went to work with Sim 2 at home with 2 twin infants. I decided to 'work from home' with the Art Critic Career again to see what happened. Now that both my adult Sims were out of the house, the infants went to daycare and their needs seemed to be fine and everything was great. My Sim 1 finished work while my Sim 2 was still doing his tasks and both infants appeared to be at home with Sim 1.

So far so good. To recap
Sim 1 returned home
Infants returned from daycare
Sim 2 (which was the active Sim I was playing - was at the Arts Center doing his daily task)

Everything went horribly wrong when Sim 2 travelled home. Infant 1 was outside the house on the pavement. Sim 2 was parked on a far away lot and almost got run over by Molly Prescott on a bike ! How traumatic. Luckily she swerved and missed. Ironically this was the exact same lot this infant was stuck on the last time.
