This has just happened to me now. haven't played in this world for a while... very annoying and disappointed

I can't fish in sulani 😞 ever since the double update on the 23rd of July 2024 sulani fishing has broken. I've noticed some people can still fish from the boats and yes this is a work around but still irritating as a main feature is broken and now my fisher sim cants do the angling ace aspiration while living in sulani. Also I found the fish traps work still too as another work around but all the fishing signs are broken 🙃 I don't use cc or mods and have all the dlc except starwars, wedding stories, hsyears, growing together, lovestruck, crystal creations and the kits. I also have a second account (for my niece on xbox) with basegame and island living only and that one is also broken. (I play on PC btw.)

Update... I can't fish in all of the islands of Sulani

Another vote for Sulani. It works in Glimmerbrook and Newcrest, but not in Sulani, haven't tested it in other worlds. In Sulani you can only fish on boats. No mods installed at the moment and I tested it with a totally new game.

@StolasArcane still having this issue. absolutley ruined my rags to riches in sulani. like its such a big part of island living, imagine just buying the pack to find out one of the main parts is broken. ugh.

I have managed to get my sim to fish from a boat but they behave as if the cannot reach the fishing sign.  I've tried all the fishing places in the volcano are and its the same but not tried ther areas.  My sim is a vampire NOT a mermaid

@Chezie13 My Sim was a human. I think it's just bugged for every type of Sim
