[OPEN] (IL) Signed Fishing Spots Not Working

UPDATE: tested placing a fishing sign associated with Island Living and encountered the same bug in Live. Placed a fishing sign from base game and now they're happily fishing.

@masharunya So it's looking likely that potentially the code with the IL fishing spots is maybe bugging out

After downloading the new updates fishing still doesn't seem to be working and my sims can no longer pay their bills but weirdly enough, in my other savefile it seems to be working just fine

It definitely seems to be Island Living related. I also tried fishing from the canoe and it gives the same 'can't walk' thought bubble. So not just the fishing signs.

this is still an issue for my sims, and its super annoying. i am fully up to date, repaired game, its always been vanilla, deleted cache file and still an issue. a little help, EA?

@masharunyaAh see when I tried the boats worked so maybe it's spread over?

Or that could be a version issue. Like difference between console and pc

@nataly_vavy I am having the same issue. You can deep sea fish from a canoe, but none of the in-world signs work.

Experiencing the same problem.

It looks like it might be related only to the signed fishing spots in Sulani. All Sulani neighborhoods.

I can fish from a boat in Sulani, but not from a shore sign. When I fish from a boat, I only catch generic fish that are available on all worlds. I did not catch any Sulani-specific fish (like Clownfish or Mahi Mahi).

I can fish in other worlds. I haven't tried every single world, but so far every one I've checked has worked fine except for Sulani. 

I tried cheating the fishing experience level up and down. That had no effect. I tried using several different kinds of bait, or no bait. Also had no effect. So it looks like it might have something to do specifically with Sulani-based fishing signs.

@scottpix I tried in two different locations in Sulani as well. This seems pretty on par to what I experienced when I posted the start of this. This definitely seems like a patch issue because I did catch a moment in one video from the early access of LS where it looked like fishing was perhaps cancelled as an action
