Island Living, Seasons, Cats and Dogs, City Living, Get Together, Get To Work, Werewolves, Jungle Adventure, Parenthood, Vampires, Crystal Creations, Paranormal Stuff, Tiny Living, My First Pet, Toddler Stuff and Kids Room stuff, Backyard Stuff, Romantic Garden, Spooky Stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Click onto any game fishing spot with a sign
What happens when the bug occurs? Sim will either say they cannot use the spot or will run around it in an attempt to reach it before saying the same. Tried resetting both sim and fishing spot and issue persists Happened after today's patch
What do you expect to see? Fishing spots able to be used as normal
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The most recent patch for The Sims 4

Was playing earlier today before the update and everything was fine. This has only happened since the patch a few hours ago. Have updated with both patches provided today

EDIT: Thanks to the community it's been found the fishing issues are located in Sulani alone. Fishing everywhere else seems to be working. Just know the spots in Sulani seem to be bugged

woah i have the exact same issues, i can't go fishing since the update and it's annoying

i tried to reset it with cheats by clicking on a fishing spot, resetted one of my sims in a household and even clicked on a mailbox to reset things
i repaired the game but none of this seems to be working

and no i don't use mods, i removed them just to make sure

i have the same problems with the signed fishing spots not working and it was doing fine before the update

@sailorleontine I found fishing still works on boats if you have Island Living. Like the boats you can buy and place on the water. Fishing from there works it just seems to be the signed spots for me

my sim lives in Sulani (what a coincidence) but i didn't knew about doing that in boats, i give it a try
(my sim is rich so it can buy expensive stuff hehe :P )

There were 2 game updates released today, can you please verify for me which version number you're currently using?

My Sim lives in Journey's End right next to the ocean haha so having the boat is great for a relaxing activity

Maybe the signs are just bugged out

At least if it works for you you can still fish until its fixed lol

@EA_Solaire Hi. Being on console I'm not entirely sure of the version number but I have installed both updates to my game since I know there were two

You can check which game version you currently have by following these steps.

Cant tell you it down to the exact numbers but I downloaded both updates if that helps

i updated the game at like 9 0,clock at the evening (in the europe time)

it's now almost 12 0,clock at near night but i can do an another update
i had no idea there were 2 updates
