My spellcaster is also unable to complete this task. One would think that since the problem seems narrowed down to spellcasters, this would have been fixed by now.

This is still broken. My Sim is a spellcaster, with level 10 logic. SShe lives in Sulani. I tried having her use a PC as well as a laptop. Neither worked, both before she started (would you like to accept your pre-work assignment?) and after her first day (work from home). She is currently level 2 in the Conservationist career. I have no mods installed.

Conservationist Sims now Write Conservation Articles at the appropriate career level (level 4). On the same note, the task for Research Conservation now can be completed.

Fixed in Patch 1.68.154/ 1.33
