[OPEN] Houses/Lots disappear/Error 800 or 801 [ Edited ]

There's also a few similar issues/threads that I believe are all the same issue but slightly different in how they manifest themselves.

• Default Lots Showing in Surrounding World
• [NEEDS SAVES] Orange/Green Exclamation signs over lots / Houses disappear
• [FR] Corrupted lot/Houses disappear
• Map doesn't update changes to lots/ Can't change lot type
• Lots randomly revert back to defaults
• Llama pictures on lots (possibly also incomplete installation - repair your game first)
• Error 800 and Error 801

Problem

When I load my lot or go to work with my Sim, the game simply loads an empty lot

my sims 4 hasn't been working for about 2 weeks. whenever I click to play on a household it loads and the houses aren't there. which means I cannot play the game as there is no houses/community lots I can go on.

I just played the sims 4 and added a lot of venues and home in the new city (newcrest) but suddenly all of my lots homes disappeared. Why!???

Here I answer the questions

  • No, I used to in The Sims 3 but not in The Sims 4
• • Do you download houses from the Gallery ?
  • No, I don't use to in The Sims 4
• • Which expansion do you have ?
  • I only have a free pack: Holiday Celebration
• • What's your operating system ?
  • Windows 7
• • When did this occur ? When you loaded the game or on traveling ?
  • When I loaded the game and tried to play.
• • Is just the house gone from the lot or the Sims too ?
  • Only my house. My neighbour's houses are also there. The only thing missing is my house.

thanks for answering the question.

Did you have any paintings in the house you drew from reference ? And MoveObjects or BuyDebug items ? Did you place the house from your library or build in that game ?

Similar problem as the previous person. I did have one painting by reference if that helps.

House is gone both on startup and visiting. It's visible on the overview before you enter the lot. I also just added a hot-tub to lot. I have all the expansion packs and windows 7.

1 no mods
2 I may have d/l house but none used
3 all expansions
4 initially when changing lots in game. Left game without saving when I noticed. Tried starting at lot and traveling to it all with same results.
5 everything shows up on map. No house and 3 sims left showing. I think the kids were at school though.
6 nothing in addition to my other comments

Did you try a backup ? If so, did it occur again ?
