I I got this with my early graduate as well. Her young adult BFF gets the "resentful about no prom invite" every week, and A. there's no option to invite anyone to prom, and B. she's in uni, so why would she care about HS stuff? It's even weirder that young adults get the resentment, since they really shouldn't care about prom at all. I've also attempted to cheat the "skipped prom together" sentiment, but it doesn't work, I guess because the BFF is a young adult and not a teen.
Since I play on "long" lifespan, the weekly proms are plenty dumb as is, but these pointless weekly bad sentiments just ruin their relationship, and it's annoying having to repeatedly remove them just because someone slept through UX class

This is sad that this was reported months ago as an issue and apparently no fix has been looked at. They need to fix a few issues with teens who graduate early and go to college. Can't complete the University graduate aspiration as a teen because you can't tutor Sims as a teen either. Makes graduating early not worth it when you can't even get a real job either. They're stuck with side hustles or part time gigs.

I do hope they fix this but for now I have been using this cheat to remove the sentiments:
modifyrelationship Firstname1 Lastname1 Firstname2 Lastname2 -100 Bitter_ST_HSProm_NoPromInvite
Sometimes you have to first add it by changing the "-100" to "100" and then using the "-100" to fully make it disappear. I think this is because the sentiment bubbles fill up over time as they grow more resentful, but it wont remove the sentiment unless it is completely full. At least, this is what I've observed.

This bug is maddening... either they shouldn't get the grudge, shouldn't be able to go to prom at all, or should be able to ask their partner/love interest to go. I'm playing on long life span and both my teens have graduated already (one has a college degree and has started a second) and this is maddening EVERY Saturday.

Hello, bug is happening to me. My girl graduated early, and I noticed that a few days later on Monday when she met her boyfriend, her Sentiment about him was Resentful for No Prom Invite, and she had the Moodlet of Sad/Angry about it. I noticed that I also get called up by other Teen friends still in school about holding a get-together before Prom, which is TBF not as annoying. I checked just in case if she could randomly invite her BF to Prom, but of course I couldn't. Please fix!

A workaround that has been working for me is to ask the love interest to prom and not go. That makes the "invited to prom" relationship tag stay for a while for me.

I would pin this if I could, thank you!
