Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.90.375.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? nearly all
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? have a teen sim with acne visible while aging up to young adult
What happens when the bug occurs? my sim aged up to young adult with acne and still has the acne, this would be fine as game play as adult do have acne too, except she can't wash her face or cover it up any more at the sink, face packs from spa day do nothing, no acne CAS option is on, removing acne from game play in settings saving then restarting the game and she still has acne. I now think it must be at least a programming oversight if not a bug. I have seen on a forum it suggested to age her down in CAS to teen, wash her face then age up again but she is a twin about a week in to young adult life so it would ruin game play unless I can cheat her days?
What do you expect to see? either young adult and older sims to not have acne OR young adult and older sims to be able to wash their face and cover with make as well.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. high school years

Despite having disabled Acne, my teens are still getting Acne. Worse, if they age up to young adults they still have the acne and no option to wash their face and clear it up. It even will last if I age them up to adults.

The application on some sims is broken for applying spots. You can only have acne or freckles... not both! x)

I’m having the same issue. I have all packs and am updated to the current patch.
my teen sim had acne and aged up to young adult with it and now I am unable to get rid of it. There is no option to conceal it or wash her face.

I fixed the bug by turning off the ability to get acne then aged my sims down to toddlers then aged them back up and it worked

This just happened to me with a household I had been playing, then marked as "unplayed". I came back to play with these Sims again now that they are older, and the two Sims who were teens before have aged up to Young Adult and have permanent acne.
There are no options for skincare at the bathroom mirror.
