[OPEN] [HCHSP] Sims autonomously eat prepped ingredients [ Edited ]

How often does the bug occur? Quite often
What is your current game version number? 1.105.332.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Batuu,Toddler, Bowling night, Kids room, Cool kitchen, Carnival kit, Modern menswear kit, Industrial loft, Fashion street kit, Bust the dust kit, Throwback fit kit

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a sim be hungry and let them autonomously go get leftovers
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim will chose to eat the prepped food like batter instead of an actual meal. 
What do you expect to see? the sim eating only edible food, not some raw waffle batter
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Removed mods
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? After I bought and installed Home Chef Hustle Stuff up until now

also happens if a Sim is a glutton (so even with a full hunger bar)

@EeveeTinn Is this specifically when you click the “get leftovers” option on the fridge, or only as an autonomous action? “Get leftovers” has been working for me since the patch so far, but I can see how fixing that might not have changed grabbing a snack autonomously.

@PipMenace I didn't try yet by clicking actively "get leftovers", it's autonomously getting leftovers as I wrote in the post. Other Sims also get bread when they autonomously grab leftovers which is...i guess fair if you want bread but kinda weird lol especially when there are other meals and i usually use bread for making other food (simple living lot trait).

@EeveeTinn Yes the preps ingredients, as well as the bread and cheese are all part of recipes, so it is annoying to see your sims taking those to eat from the ''Get leftovers'' option on the fridge or autonomously. I would rather not, and if I want them to take a slice of cheese, then I will go into the fridge inventory and do it that way... I think most players would find it convenient that way...

I think this thread might be two separate things, unless someone can confirm they still get HCH's prepped ingredients for the "Get leftovers" interaction on the fridge:

1. Sims autonomously eat prepped ingredients.

2. "Get leftovers" still includes bread and cheese.

My personal opinion is that bread and cheese might not count as ingredients as they can perfectly well be eaten on their own. So this might be by design.

@Francoisf30 I moved your post here cause I had lock the other thread but if you want to make a separate post for bread and cheese that might be best so we can distinguish between auto and get left overs. Maxis can then decide if they want to treat it as bug.

It's NOT just bread and cheese.  My current family has a child-aged sim who just autonomously picked PREPPED RAW MEAT and ate it.

  

Don't worry, I can still use the mods the community builds for free which have already SUCCESSFULLY corrected this issue (once they're updated for this patch level...which broke a bunch of mods THAT ACTUALLY DID fix this half-year-old bug...)

Showing the fact with these 2 screenshots that there were other REAL MEALS of the same quality available and there's a vegetarian option as well so that's not what it was. 
The 4 options were all excellent quality, NONE were spoiled (not even close). 

The options were:
1. chili w/meat
2. garden salad

3. prepped veggies

4. prepped raw meat

Because any REAL 10 year old girl would pick out her Sunday brunch of COLD, RAW MEAT STRAIGHT OUT OF THE TUPPERWARE...Awesome.

@LadyXelda There currently seem two issues

- Get Leftover interaction which was fixed but still does it for bread and cheese (possibly not a bug)
- Sims autonomously getting them which still seems to happen for everything.

To be sure, does the get leftover interaction work as intended for you ?

On console I notice this still seems to be occurring, noticed it with dough
