When trying to do the same thing simultaneously from two sims, it makes them go through each other. They don't wait untill the other sim does his/her job. (eg: trying to take sth. from the refrigerator.)

@nirmaldiaz Moved to bug reports. This might not be a bug though but the price we have to pay for better routing.
Good Luck

I'm sure this has been mentioned before but c'mon... surely the game designers can do better than this.

Edit: Almost always happens when the coffe maker is used. Happens at other times too.

I have noticed things like the violens or guitars go through windows when the sim is standing next to it to use it is this a known problem or is this something new?

@robert2192 I merged your thread with the clipping thread. I'd say it's just an instance of that.

Sims seem to be clipping into each other again. Is quite noticeable on the detective career lot (mainly around the prison doors and the staff desk at the front door) and during busy dinner parties where sims will begin sitting in the same spot on a couch.
No mods/CC/scripts
Repaired twice with same results.
Origin In-game disabled.
Will grab screenshots when it next occurs at a party (currently playing a doctor)
Edit: Here's a screenshot, the clipping is occurring on the left side of the couch. (Little difficult to see as they blend together quite well)

Persistent routing failures during events or gathering of large numbers of sims within small areas result in characters being routed through objects, standing on top of each other within slots, and performing actions at inappropriate distances. For example sims who are preparing to hug each other will collide repeatedly then stretch their arms toward each other across the room, or when 10+ sims are dancing at the DJ booth, they'll walk through the booth then stand in front of the DJ. I've also noticed sims sitting on top of each other at computer desks then moving the chair while the other sim is still actively using the computer.

Sounds a bit extreme but linking this thread to the existing issue on the list that never got a thread here but only at the official.
Are you using MOO to place your objects ? Have you tried repairing your game and deleting your caches ? Are you using mods in your game ?
Do you get actual routing failures with stumping, waving and dropping of queues or just them routing through each other ?
Good Luck
