I am having this issue too, a sim quit the spotlight and now I am getting LE as described. The sim is now dead so I can't make them rejoin the spotlight.

"WARNING!!! - How broken is this ... fame system?! Well, if you've had enough of the intolerable ... and choose options to remove Fame status from your sim, you will curse your game with LEs as the "Household Milestone Fame" system gets broken. Not just for your famous sim's, sorry ex-famous sim's household either. Every lot you load, be that residential or community, be that in play mode or build mode, be they sims that know your famous sim, - sorry ex-famous sim - or had no ... clue they existed, you'll get the LE via MC telling you the "Household_Milestone.py" system is broken.  Must be for the fame milestones as the only other two household milestone game files are to do with pet obsessions and pet quirks. Broken good, too, as you won't stop getting the message every session thereafter, every lot you load, every new game load you try."

I am also having this problem! And the LE's started getting worse. I had to opt back into fame which is just going to make my already difficult 100 baby challenge even harder when the Mom develops quirks because she is getting famous painting and writing books. Ahhhh. please, fix this error.
