Same issue. For me, the problem started when EA's servers were down. My favorites aren't showing up, and if I add something new to my faves it doesn't get added.

@Sunstringer Same. It's so frustrating because I know they're all there. If I set the category to, say, Museum or Park, suddenly those hidden lots show up. But if it's on All, I only get those 25. I have well over 100 favorited lots and it's frustrating not being able to access them.

I have the same problem as well. Never paid attention to this but I started noticing a couple of days ago when I wanted to place a couple of lots I faved and I knew I had a lot more than what's game was showing... Especially since I faved a couple of recent ones and they sometimes appear and sometimes don't. 

So I guess it's a known issue and I do hope this will be solved and like many others... Won't lose any of them because I really did like a lot some of those lots.

Yep, happening to me too since the update. Honestly at this point I refuse to buy any more Sims 4 content till this is fixed, because I've paid for the full game and can only access a part of the game now (all of online being basically unusable with this gallery glitch). I have to rely on saving every single lot to my library otherwise due to the Gallery's awful search engine, they're practically impossible to find again. 
I took a long break since this summer in hopes that this would be fixed, but nope they don't seem to care.
Hardly any lots show up in "Favorites" and my friends list keeps getting cleared every time I close the game. This has kinda ruined the entire game for me

@Flume95 I agree with you. Mentioned this issue about a month ago and there was an update recently but still, nothing is fixed on that part. There are so many lots I can't use because I don't remember them and I'm so bummed about this. When I search the gallery, I need to save the lots to my library because I know the game won't load the whole list I saved. Truly this sucks, we want to be able to use our faves lots in our games, it's not that hard and it was working fine before the whole gallery update. Something always crashes with this game -_-

@Sunstringer Having the same problem. In my case it shows me a maximum of 17 items (Households and lots).

I know for sure I have more favorites, when I search for the missing items in the gallery, they do show up with the green heart. But later they don't show up when I look for them in "My favorites" section.

This is a really frustrating issue tbh
