Since I stumbled on this while teaching people about why Sims get fat, I want to point out something that needs to be taken in consideration when fixing it. It is really better if all foods that should have calories DO have calories after all, but it is also going to cause Sims to gain more weight. If I am reading correctly it's 150 calories per pound right now. I'd probably bring it up to 200 to compensate for Sims now getting calories consistently from all meals, as people who own many packs will now find their home cooking causing their weight to balloon in certain circumstances.
The system would be a bit better if there was a tiny decay of fat, and I mean really tiny, to simulate a basal metabolic rate for Sims, where you can eat lobster thermidor without gaining weight if you eat a salad the next day. Right now the only method of losing weight is to actually exercise, but it should also make sense, and add an extra gameplay layer for Sims to successfully diet.
Be kinda cool if they had to fight cravings for cookies and ice cream if they eat too much salad but y'know, I don't want to get my hopes up.

I see this on PS4. My sims are very thin, and never seem to gain weight. Every food on this list is food I normally make because they seem like they should impact weight.

I wanted to add additional foods to the list:
Base Game
Get To Work - All Recipies
Get Together - All Recipies
City Living
Get Famous
Island Living
University
Parenthood
Holiday Celebration Pack
@crinrict Let me know if I should create separate posts for these. I don't know if you want to keep them in a collection thread. I can only test the packs I have.
The game should have code in it to prevent NPC Sim's fat from changing when eating. The game should also indicate to players the number of calories a food has using a scale (low, medium, high). See the example image below:

How do you find the calorie values from each pack? I'd really like to know the values of the food at the cafeteria in high school years ep.

From examining the XML files. It's not meant to be an easy task. There are modding tutorials that can help you find it.

I really hope this gets fixed as so many food options simply ignore the calorie system, and it's quite sad because the system is something that makes The Sims 4 stand out from the previous installments when it comes to weight gain/loss. The calorie system shouldn't be completely neglected.
