What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything released
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Use a Sim that lives in an R-rental but doesn't own any R-Rentals. 2. Buy a business 3. Transfer money from household to business
What happens when the bug occurs? The household funds stay the same or nothing is transferred at all
What do you expect to see? The household funds to be reduced and business fund to become higher or the other way round.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used

As per patch notes, property owners now work properly. Renters however do still have the same issue as before. So Sims living in an R-Rental but NOT owning it, still don't work

I haven't tested all the business but vets and restaurants are def still broken for renters.

On my first test, the funds also broken completely. The initial transfer worked as far as that the business got money, after that it wouldn't work at all anymore. Need to test further if I can duplicate this as well.

Household funds after the transfer

I am unable to transfer my household funds to my vet clinic in the game. I don't have any game mods etc. I type in an amount to transfer (I have millions of dollars to work with) but the number just disappears when I hit confirm on the transfer and nothing happens.

@cbischo Are you living on a residential rental lot ? There's a known bug with that but what happens is that the money added to business but not reduced from household. Is that what you are seeing ?

When I have tried to have my sims own a restaurant, I am unable to transfer any funds to that business, with both the household funds and business funds staying the same. This means that the business funds cannot be more than 0 so I am unable to have my sims own a restaurant.

@freyams Did you install yesterday's patch ? Any mods/cc ? Is you Sim living in a residential rental ? Do they own other businesses ?

EDIT: Did some self testing and while the initial transfer worked (household funds not being reduced), nothing happened afterwards. The error corrected itself for me though so try selling the business and rebuying and see if transferring works afterwads.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to buy a retail lot through the panel. Buy a retail lot and try to transfer funds.
What happens when the bug occurs? Can't purchase a retail lot through panel, the button doesn't open anything Can't transfer household funds into retail business. When I click confirm transfer, the pop up just closes (no sound effect) and no funds transfer.
What do you expect to see? Money should transfer between household and retail. I should be able to buy retail lot from the panel.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I have set up a retail lot for my Sim to own but when I try to transfer household funds, nothing happens, therefore I cannot start the business. I also have to buy via phone, I cannot buy through panel.

I have tried selling and rebuying, that did not work, as well as closing the game and reopening.

I was in a residential rental (I didn’t think that might have been the issue, so I’ll try moving them to a normal lot!)

@theducksource I tested residential rental yesterday and had issues with the household funds still being the same AND also saw what you saw but that corrected itself after selling, buying something else, then selling that and buying the restaurant again (for me it was a restaurant)

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Buy a restaurant, have the funds go below 0, then try to transfer money from household to business funds.
What happens when the bug occurs? I can't transfer household funds to my restaurant. I put the amount of money in the dialogue box but then the money never transfers.
What do you expect to see? The selected amount transfers from houshold funds to restaurant funds
