[OPEN] Endless Loading/Crashing when trying to load a certain lot [ Edited ]

@taramorphism Misunderstood your report then. Thought it was only the affected ones. If it's all the lots, it might be a different issue or it's cc related in which case this is better off in the mods forum.

Tested the saves you provided. I have no mods/cc installed so maybe it's an issue with something you placed that way which I can't test. 

I can't see a save 5 only 3 which has a family in san myshuno which loads with no issues for me

Save 0a, lot in Sulani, loads fine for me

Save 9, lot in Sulani, loads fine for me.

Which lots don't load for you ?

oh it was supposed to be 5, must've made a mistake and attached 3 instead. save 0a loads fine for me since its a blank house with no furniture and hence no cc used. the other 2 saves never load for me and its really not the cc thats affecting it but the use of the cheats (just the use case triggering the infinite loading loop) because i tested a blank save with most of the cc later (placed plainly with no MOO or other cheat used) and it loaded fine. i dont know why my neighboring lots wont open either, it doesnt make sense

@taramorphism Could you attach 5 ? I was able to load all three saves fine but since most of your furniture is cc and got removed, it's hard to tell if the issue is cc itself or an issue with the placement.

Usually for this particular error, it's no issue to load the neighboring lots as it's specific to a certain build.

Did you just leave CC in when testing or also mods ?

all saves open fine for me with both cc and mods disabled.

@taramorphism Guess it's hard to tell what the issue is if it opens with mods/cc disabled. Probably do a 50/50

I came across this thread https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/NEEDS-SAVES-Can-t-make-changes-to-build/m-p/13291226 recently and remembered, when I was trying to make my crashing lots work again back in February/March and before I was cleaning the lots in my main save file via Sims4Studio to make them work again, I stumbled apon that issue too.

One of the first lots (which worked fine before For Rent Patch) I worked on was on the former Magnolia Blossom Park lot. I managed after many many tries to get this lot to load ingame (three times all in all) and I tried to delete everything when I got there. With no luck. Not with the sledge hammer tool. Not with deleting every item one by one. Not even by replacing the lot with another one from the Gallery either. I tried three times. Still the same issue not able to delete anything on that lot. I stopped after that and started editing my save file instead.

I just wanted to write it down here if there is a chance that it may helps. Maybe those two issues are related to each other.

Hey, I'm really desperate. Could someone please give me some advice? The game worked fine before Christmas, I went back to it after the holidays and spent the first week of January building three houses in Glimmerbrook. One is a library, the second is a haunted house from the Paranormal stuff, and the third is a regular house for living. I built all three using bb.moveobjects, bb.showliveeditobjetcs, and bb.showhiddenobjects, and also using some CC from SpiningPlumbobs (books for fairies and witches, a fairy house, etc.) and then mostly with in-game items from the Realm of Magic and Paranormal stuffs.

Ever since I built these houses, I can't get into my Glimmerbrook household (which is not in any of these 3 new houses), or maybe I can once and not the second time. When I simply go from a built house, neighborhood, or from one household to another, the game takes an interminable amount of time to load. No scoreboard appears, the game doesn't crash, it just keeps loading and playing music. Only the background text stops moving, so then I know only a restart will help. I can't even throw the game into the bar. When I launch the task manager to quit the game through it, it can't overlay the game and pop up. So all I can do is hit the windows button and restart the whole laptop. It's happened to me about six times in the last two days and it's certainly not doing him any good. :-/

So far, I've tried removing the localthumbcache file, verifying the integrity of the files in Steam (I play on a PC via Steam), and disabling the online features in the game or the gallery access. Using the 50/50 method, I've been gradually going through and reinserting mods into the game. When my household loaded the first time, I considered it "fine". I threw out some mods, updated others, and came to the conclusion that maybe the problem was with Ravasheen's mod. When it was in the game, it was loading endlessly. When I took it out, the household loaded. I was already rejoicing. But I only managed to move one sim into the regular house, and then when I wanted to go back to the household I'd evicted him from, I couldn't. Endless loading again.

I can't think of anything else to try, except two things - start a brand new saved game and see if the problem persists there. I don't really want to go into that, except as a last resort. Or delete all three newly created houses from Glimmerbrook, but damn, they gave me so much work! I don't know if saving them to my library and then deleting them from the world will solve anything... I'm afraid they wouldn't be able to be reinserted afterwards so that everything fits nicely, given the cheats and the proper space manipulation. :D I don't actually know if the problem is related to them or something else. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? You can find the bug by trying to access certain lots in my main save. I tried moving the households out of my lots and letting them move in somewhere else, which worked, so the issues is really the lots and not the households. To solve it I removed the mods file from the Sims 4 folder, deleted all cache files and folders, repaired the game, backed my game up and tried to load older saves, without any success. It doesn't occur within other saves though.
What happens when the bug occurs? Whenever I try to access certain lots the loading screen pops up and, well... the game loads forever. Certain lots simply won't load. Sometimes the sound right before the lot loads comes on but after that the game simply continues to load. It happens in different worlds; all of the lots in Chestnut Ridge and Strangerville are affected. Also I've encountered this issue with some of my lots in Sulani and San Sequoia so far. It also occurs on empty lots. I tried letting the loading screen on for several hours to see what happens - nothing changed.
What do you expect to see? The playable household and the lot itself.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Not sure whether the bug occured after a specific patch or change, but that I would've noticed. I've noticed it about two weeks ago.

@SweetySimon Do you have every pack and builds and sims in every world? The game engine is not made for every world to be built and filled with sims unfortunately. So it could be, that these three houses are too much for this save game. When I had problems with lots I deleted some of them and also sims and could play again. Unfortunately I still had bugs but these were due to broken residential rentals and apartments so I had to abandon the save.

@indywara So, with more packs sold and more in game equals endless loading more and more?! I wish they would just fix the bugs and leave the game alone!
