Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to weed vertical garden plants
What happens when the bug occurs? Sim cannot weed vertical garden plants. Sim can plant, harvest, water, and spray for bugs though
What do you expect to see? Sim weeding vertical garden plants
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

@hallsigns Are there weeds and you get a routing failure or are you not getting weeds ?

No there is no option to weed the plant at all.  if you move the vertical garden then put it back or harvest the plant the weeds go away temporarily.
