Level 4 Paralegal Won't Do Lawyer's Exam

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have Sim in the Law Career, as a Paralegal (Career level 4), using a desktop computer object, attempt to take the law exam.
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim cancels the action, and routes themselves to the lot's spawn point.
What do you expect to see? Sim should successfully complete the "Take Law Exam" action using the computer object.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

If it is of any relevance, all law career-related computer tasks experienced the same issue where if the sim was not currently sitting in front of the computer, the action canceled itself, though unlike the Exam action, if the sim was told to sit first the other career actions were able to progres & successfully complete. 

I tested this both in the modded gameplay I was using (Only relevant mod would have been MCCC & an aspirations mod that I tested the same save file both with & w/o), and in a brand new unmodded save file. The only difference was in the unmodded game, the sim was able to correctly route to the desk chair for all other law career actions. I'm having difficulties submitting this with the lastException file attached, so I will copy/paste it into a reply to this post.

The computer chair, desk, and computer were not placed using bb.moveobjects. I tested this with several combinations of desk & chair & computer objects, all with the same outcome, so it does not appear to be tied to a specific object file.

The issue persisted after attempting to repair the game through Origin, so the game itself appears to not be corrupted.

my sim is level 4 of the law career and also cannot take the law exam. She disappears off the lot for about 1 second and then reappears straight away.

Hi @thisisarealpainx - do you have any lastException.txt files happening with this? You can find it in your TS4 documents folder; \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4

@BlackjackWidow no I didn't get any last exceptions with it. But I did realise that the 'pass lawyers exam' task did tick off my sim's job tasks so I guess the game recognised it even though my sim was only gone for a spilt second.

Every time one of my Sims is about to take the bar exam which is required in order to become a lawyer a LE notification pops up often times preventing said Sim from attending the class required to take the exam
