[DU] ICYA Chest Inventory Locked After Moving

I  just tested this out. I moved all my sims out with the old chests and a new one and it was fine this time. So not sure what caused the issue. The only thing I can think that I did last time was that I wanted to move my main sim away from sim's she was living with and in with other sims, but I wanted to move some stuff with her but not all of it, so instead of splitting the household I moved all the sims out and sold the furniture and then split the household and moved the other sims back into the old house, if that makes sense.

It's not just the ICYA - Chest. The Sticker Storage Box from Eco does the same thing.

I've noticed this problem also...

My sim got married and took all her stuff from her brother's house to take with her but when she went to move to her own house, I placed the box and I couldn't take anything inside

It contains a bunch of photos and some other random items that she collected over her childhood time. So I'm a little sad I can't put the items in her new house and are basically stuck inside that storage box now

@AgentBumblebee81 It happened to me when the boxes were in her own inventory so I don't think the household inventory is the problem. I did try this out and I got my stuff back but the photos that were in there were gone (They were just black)

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Every pack ever published
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1) Move something (e.g. apples, bananas, photos, etc.) into a sticker box or ICYA chest, 2) move the chest to a sim's personal inventory, and 3) have him/her go to univ. Or, instead of 3), do 4) seperate this sim from a family more than 2 and move him/her to a new slot.
What happens when the bug occurs? Everything in the container seems to be locked, unable to be moved out. They seemed to be no longer owned by the sim.
What do you expect to see? Everything in the container is still owned by the sim and free to be taken out.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

who says this was fixed in Patch 1.67.45/ 1.32, but I still got it in version 1.82.99.1030.

Another problem of blacked photo also occurs, like the post below:

P.S. It is noticeable that, if my sim is the only sim in the family, this problem does not occur when I move him/her to a new slot. 

i.e. It occurs when there are multiple sims in the household OR the sim goes to univ.

So at home, my teen could freely store and remove stuff from her keepsake box. So I packed it all full of goodies so they wouldn't clutter my inventory and took off to University. I put my keepsake box on a table in my room.. and none of the stuff is retrievable. (except her two old school homework books.)   

What's the point of a keepsake box if you can't access the stuff that is in it if you move away from your home? 

Oh, you can access fruits and vegetables.. but only to "Place in World" (individual items, not stacks) and then once it's placed, you can eat it.. but not put it in your inventory.

@crinrict Ahh.. so a bug of some sort. Added my "me too"

Fairly easily resolved if you realize it fast enough.. just recover a save from before you moved, take everything out of the box and put in your inventory, move, put everything back in the box. Kind of a hassle but whatever.
