[OPEN] [CoL] No ribbon/message after Finchwick Fair

When this pack first came out I was consistently getting notifications about whatever contests I entered. Then I had one fair when I had entries in both contests but got no notifications at all when the fair was over. Ever since then, I've been getting notifications about the major contests but not the minor ones (with one entry in each). I haven't tried entering just one contest since I started getting only half of the notifications that I should be getting.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Cottage Living. Enter any of the Finchwick Fair's and submit and entry. Wait until competition ends and see if you get a notification about the result.
What happens when the bug occurs? I've entered two competitions now, where this has happened. Not sure if its a lag issue. Most recently I submitted wool in the Llama fair, so did two other sims. When the fair ended, everything disappeared and all sims went home and left the lot. There was no notification about competition results. When I went back to my my home lot the wool was back in the family/home inventory, but no ribbon or notification about the result ever came. There was some new milk in my personal inventory, don't know if that's significant - i don't have cow? I did have this happen before where I entered a pie in the garden fair, along with a plant in the other competition and the only result I got was for the plant, which was a participation ribbon, but nothing for the pie. It's almost like I hadn't entered anything at all? Not sure if you can only enter one thing at a time? This has only happened twice as two other occasions I've received the notification. It is a tad annoying though, but I thought I'd mention it anyway just to see if others have experienced it at all.
What do you expect to see? A notification informing me of the result.

I do use mods but I deleted one recently and all others have been updated as of the last patch/update - MCC, WoohooWellness

Happend to me (on XB1) with the egg competition, I entered 2 eggs (one blue egg and one green egg), got no message or ribbon at the end, in fact the mayor never even looked at the eggs (she was dancing the whole time...).

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Submit an item to the Finchwick Fair.
What happens when the bug occurs? I first noticed that if I submit an item for both competitions going on at the same time I would only receive a ribbon for one of the competitions. I started to compete in only one competition. However, now when I compete in a competition and the fair disappears around 10:30, I don't even get a participation ribbon and I don't think the item I submitted returns to my household inventory.
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to compete in both competitions occurring the day of the Finchwick Fair and at least get a participation ribbon for both events.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

The Finchwick Fair is essential useless to me now except for buying special items at the grocery and garden stalls.

This also happened to me. I entered a pie & a lemon in one of the fairs. I only received a participation ribbon for the lemon, nothing at all for the pie. I also think it's really odd that my lemon with "excellent" stats received a participation ribbon compared to the other entries (chocoberry, bonsai bud & a carrot). Produce with better stats should place higher.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Enter into the fair with a non owned stereo playing music.
What happens when the bug occurs? The mayor, and many other sims just dance at the stereo instead of interacting with the fair, this causes no prizes to be given .
What do you expect to see? A patch, discouraging at least the mayor from interacting with non fair items so she can complete her role without the fair timing out

The mayor of Finchwick doesn't interact with the fair entries, because she's too busy dancing at a nearby stereo!

This causes the event to time out with no awards given.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Entering an entry in either pies or eggs contests is basically treated by the game as if you never submitted an entry at all.
The mayor never goes nearby and prefer to dance her older years off to cheap country music and talking to strangers that will never understand her, which I suspect is the main culprit of the evaluation process never happening on secondary contests (chicken and agriculture contests work fine)

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Cottage Living. Enter a Finchwick Fair competition and wait until the fair ends and see if the result appears.

What happens when the bug occurs? The notification of the fair ending soon comes up but no notification about the results of the contest appear an hour later.  The fair ends, everything disappears and my entry goes into my household inventory.  I did wonder if the reason was the mayor being too busy socialising to judge might be the reason but on the last one that I tested I kept a close eye on him and he was going round the entries as normal.  It didn't happen for the first two fair competitions I entered, but it has for all of them since.  Also, and I am not sure if this is connected or not, the second prize ribbon my sim won in the first competition disappeared from the kitchen wall when it was displayed.  Though the participation ribbon from the second competition is still in my sim's inventory.  

What do you expect to see? A notification with the results of the competition and a ribbon of some sort.

I've had nothing the last two fairs. Playing a young adult who moved out of his parents' house a couple of weeks ago and all I need to do to finish the animal enthusiast aspiration is win a competition. I get the entry back in my household inventory but no notification, prize, ribbon.

This has happened to me twice as well, both times my sim entered a pie, both times there was no notification of completion, no winning or losing moodlet, no prize, and the pies ended up back in the household inventory.
