I can't play this game right now since I can't switch between my sims, done a full game repair and nothing. Also removed all of my mods and it still doesn't let me switch between sims. The only way I can switch between sims is if I click on the menu each time then it switches, I should not have to do this. A lot of us paid the money to play the lovestruck pack and enjoy it and that is kinda difficult at the moment when the game is running like it is. Please fix this asap so we can enjoy the content we paid for.

so after playing a different family on the same save it lets me switch between my sims, it's the family that i main that the save is broken. only way to fix it is to recover a save before the last save that broke. I lost 4 hours of gameplay which doesn't really matter to what I could've lost. When I recovered the save that was broken it now lets me switch between my sims on the family that bugged out. It's not EA, it's a save that bugged out. it can happen, I hope people see this and try to see if it also works for them!

I am having issues in game that means I can't switch between my characters, save the game, interact with objects, and the time is frozen at the bottom. I have had this issue since I bought and downloaded the Love Struck game pack. The only time I am able to make the sims function and switch between them is if I bring up the pause menu after every switch of character or every interaction, but after a short period of time, this also stops working. I have spoke to EA team, and they said that there's no immediate fix but the team is working on it as it seems to be a common issue at the moment in game. So I was wondering have you guys experienced this? and what device do you play Sims 4 on? I am on PS5.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? As far as I can tell, playing with infants, but infants may not be necessary. Playing with at least 2 sims you can actively play.
What happens when the bug occurs? I cannot switch between active sims by clicking on their portrait or pressing space bar, the pause menu seems to unfreeze this, but not every time. Also when going to manage worlds to see if it would fix anything, I got caught in an infinite loading screen.
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to easily switch between sims by only clicking on their portraits or pressing the space bar.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The first Lovestruck Expansion update seems to have caused this, I haven't seen this issue before.

I've also seen this exact bug when playing with infants on PC. So the bug seems to be on PC and Mac.

I'm having this exact same issue. Thought I was losing my mind!

^ This is EXACTLY the same thing that I've experienced.

I can't switch characters in my household. I've restarted the game, turned off my computer multiple times, did a full game repair. Nothing is fixing the issue. I'm just stuck on one family member. I don't have any MODS or CC. 

Help?!

Me too - I can't switch between Sims, takes forever to save & exit (I ended up restarting my PC). I have repaired game and moved mods folder to desktop and deleted the .package file and still no change. Absolutely gutted. I do not have the new pack and am playing on Windows.
