I have literally never changed a Sims phone color ever. Has the phone update changed this in some way because I haven't.

I am not sure because i fixed it with the mod.

I guess sims try to change their phone case autonomously so check that.

@reftulip My observation is that it happens when they spawn, and they always start with playing on their phone after arriving. You can see that they change the colour of the phone.

@daikoyu I have this problem with all of the sims. Played sims (changed most phone colours) and NPC's (didnt change their phone colours...)

I noticed an autonomous interaction “change phone color” also triggers it.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves?

Regular gameplay with a 5 star celeb. in another household.
What happens when the bug occurs?

The camera will suddenly focus on the 5 star celeb. when they appear in live mode/neighborhood.

What do you expect to see?

Not having the camera snap to a sim you are not playing/in another household without you making it do so.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods?

Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system?

I believe it started after the update introducing the Highschool Years Pack

*An update, I went into the housholds of those two sims and changed their phone colors back to the original and it stopped the problem for me!

@LyssSimpatico   Which version did you use from lazarusinashes?  they have 2   lazarusinashes_NoConstantPhone and lazarusinashes_NoConstantPhone_AutonomousInteractions.

I tried using one of them but the issue didn't stop.

I had old save (from before first HSY patch) where I changed my sims phone covers and the bug kicked in instantly even with old settings. I started new save and didn’t touch the phone cover, the bug did not occur. This update of phone is really something. I hope this will be fixed sooner than later, along with annoying idle animation of taking out phones every second of their lives. My sims are better than that. The way the game forces them to be glued to the screen is more than annoying.
