Do young adults and elders have it ?
For me it's showing up for all age groups teen and above.
Could you please edit your post and add the following info to your post.

How often does the bug occur?

What happens when the bug occurs?
What do you expect to see?

What is your current game version number? 1.110.265.1030 DX11
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All game, expansion and stuff packs.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Make a child eat poor pufferfish or eat pufferfish in a bad mod.
What happens when the bug occurs? The child is alive despite having a gravestone/urn
What do you expect to see? The child to be a pufferfish ghost.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Please describe the patch or change you made. The October 22 2024 patch caused this issue.
When a child sim dies from eating some bad pufferfish, they are supposed to become ghosts. The issue is due to the fact that “death by pufferfish” is not available for child ghosts in CAS, despite the fact that this is one of the few ways a child can die. (Alongside fire, drowning, and freezing, which is also not available in CAS). The child I tested it on even had an urn to conform that he should be deceased.

What happens when the bug occurs? The child freezes to death, but remains a living sim when asked to be a playable ghost. Also freezing is not shown CAS for creating a ghost child.
What do you expect to see? The child becoming a death freezing ghost.

Similar to the death by pufferfish issue that many players (myself included) had with the new patch, children cannot become death by freezing ghosts dispite the fact that they can die by freezing. To test this I had a child walk in the winter wearing his warm weather clothes. This is because the freezing death ghost trait is not available for child ghosts.
Think we can group them for now by the type of error why they are missing
(might end up merging all of them, we'll see)
