[BY DESIGN] [CD] Sim can't play with a dog with couch potato trait [ Edited ]

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number?  1.52.100.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Let sim use the interaction "play" with dog.
What happens when the bug occurs? Dog always acts confused and refuses to play.
What do you expect to see? Sim should be able to play with a couch potato dog.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I suppose this might be a feature by design.

I believe this is intentional. I always use the play interaction with dogs as a screenshot, so it's kinda a bummer.

I think so, because it's the same situation if you have a Lazy cat in your household.

If it was intentional then you shouldn't be able to have the playful trait at the same time, but they don't conflict with each other. I have a dog with both traits currently.

This is absolutely absurd. There is no dog in the history of the universe who doesn't play. Couch potato dogs play, elderly dogs play, dogs in chronic pain play, dogs with no legs play. If this is intentional and not a bug, then I am PISSED. All dogs play. End of.

@kinot9229 This is intentional and has always happened. Couch potato dogs don’t respond to the play interaction as part of their trait because they’re lazy. Not a bug

@icanfixthislater Not a bug, it is intentional. If you don’t like it then don’t use the couch potato trait in your pets
