Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? i really don't know
I play every day and most of the time 1 have 1 crash in the hour, but now constantly. I suspect it is a serverside thing? (no updates, no changes on client) Maybe the anticheat?
I think it is very strange that the developpers have not got a good error reporting in place, because the windows errorlog has very litle details.
My feeling: I am about to uninstall this * piece of ill programmed junk....
See screenshot of windows log for times of 2 crashes (2 games)

Can confirm, the game is pretty much unplayable right now.
I've experienced crashes at start, in the lobby and during gameplay. (twice with only two squads left, thanks Kanye, very cool!)
I've tried everything, including but not limited to:
The "crash" often doesn't show up in Event Viewer, and when it does, it exits at 0x0, with code 0x0.
This makes me believe that it might have to do with EAC force closing Apex Legends for whatever reason?
(And hiding the mess it makes afterwards?)
Additional Information
Product: Apex Legends
Platform: PC, Windows 10 Home 64-bit (1809, OS Build 17763.379)
Graphics Card: MSI Radeon RX480 Gaming X 8G (stock clock, +50% power allowance)
Processor: Intel i5-2500K (stock clock)
Memory: Generic OEM, 8GB DDR3-1333
Legends: Any
Where issue: Everywhere, lobby, game, post-game screen, etc.
Which part of map: Any part, early game crashes usually happen right on plane exit or right at touchdown
What doing: Attempting to play the game
Squad mates also: Seems to be limited to platforms with slightly older CPUs
How many matches before: Usually 1 at most
When: 17-Mar-2019 19:25
How often: 100%
Severity: Major, game is unplayable
What happens: Game hang, audio buffer usually finishes and then exits to desktop, sometimes straight exit to desktop
How to reproduce?
Issue seems to happen most often with Sandy Bridge and older CPUs, paired with a Polaris GPU.
Presence of hyper-threading might also play a role.
EDIT:
Looking back at older changelogs I found patch notes along the lines of "increased I/O time-out".
The fact that I have a Barracuda Green installed as a secondary drive might hint as to why it appears as if EAC is force closing Apex Legends.
The drive often spins up in the middle of game too, with no apparent cause. (Possibly EAC sanity checking?)
