Not loading

Hi Gamers:

I need your help, I have Sims 4 and I played the game yesterday, and I woke up this morning to continue playing my game.  The game lets me load and click on play but when I click to my sim to resume game its stuck on the loading page, the page with the green diamond. help i have tired to restart my computer nothing. Can any explain to me why this is happening and what I can do to fix it.

Could you update your game and check if you still have this issue

I have updated my game but my lots still won't load.

I saw the solution here: http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/12/loading-a-family-just-reloads-the-map/ but this does not apply to my game since all the lots have correct lot types (no generic lots).

Edited to add: I tried repairing my game after patching but that did not help either.

Try moving the following file to the desktop: documents\electronicarts\thesims4\saves\slot00000001.save (that's the auto save)

I have the same problem. I had the map reloading problem first then when the update came out a couple of days ago, it just gets stuck on the loading page when I try to load any households. None of the solutions posted are working for me and I haven't been able to play for about two weeks now. Please help!

Did you try renaming the entire user folder ?
