NFS Payback Won't start.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure because as far as as I know it's only happened to me.
What happens when the bug occurs? The nfs payback.exe just launches with a black screen in windowed, and after a few seconds it just stops and the play button appears again.
What do you expect to see? The game to start.

My game crashes on startup everytime, i've tried running as admin but it just won't start the game.

As you suspect, your CPU does not meet the minimum requirements. a CPU with four hardware threads and at least 3.6GHz is required.

Minimum Requirements for 720p30 at low settings
OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or later
CPU: Intel i3 6300 @ 3.8GHz or AMD FX 8150 @ 3.6GHz with 4 hardware threads
RAM: 6GB
DISC DRIVE: DVD ROM drive required for installation only
HARD DRIVE: 30GB
VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 750 Ti or AMD Radeon™ HD 7850 or equivalent DX11 compatible GPU with 2GB of memory
DirectX: 11 Compatible video card or equivalent
INPUT: Dual analog controller
ONLINE CONNECTION REQUIREMENTS: 192 KBPS or faster Internet connection

Here you go. If it is a requirements issue it's not that big of a deal as long as it's processor related, I'm going to get a new one soon anyways.

your nfs won't start because you have direct x 12 and it is not compatible

I have the same problem and i don't know how to reinstall direct x 11

I have an Xbox One X and EVERY time I start the game it will load to the menu.  It will then crash.  

Sometimes I can get into single player and it will crash a few seconds after being able to drive the car. 

The only way I've found that makes the game run,  is to load the game and then press the Xbox guide button (big white one in middle of controller) and leave the game loading in the backround.  When the menu loading Icon stops spinning I start single player and it will run flawlessly.   It just so annoying to have to do this 5-10 times  just to play a console game.   On a BRAND NEW Xbox One X!

This is not correct, Direct X is the graphics architecture! the latest Graphics cards support DX12 and below.

DX11 is compatible for any card from around 2011(windows 7/8) upwards DX12 is part of windows 10 that was released in 2015

People really need to read up on specs before buying games. the requirements to run the game on PC are specific, if dont meet the requirments then dont expect the game to run. simple.

This doesnt help Consoles who are having the crashing problem. 

Its got nothing to do with DX11/DX12.   Ghost games and EA know what is in an Xbox One X.   Its poorly tested software.  

No one from EA gives a * enough to reply to a customer who paid full price for this joke. 

How can you release a game onto  a console,  that will not fully load first time, every time. ????

I had a similar problem on PS4 sometimes you have too restart the game because it get stuck on the main screen right after you press X .

I'm sorry, I'm from Hungary and bought the game but I could not install it. The code could not be authenticated by the server because it was unable to connect to the server. I've seen the game maybe and will buy it again later.
