Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? PC: 1.108.335.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All DLC
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a sim try for baby with a sim, click on the toilet
What happens when the bug occurs? The throwup option is available before the pregnancy test is taken.
What do you expect to see? The throwup option should only be available after the pregnancy test has been taken. Otherwise the test is pointless since you already know they are pregnant.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
The throwup interaction needs to be disabled until after a pregnancy test has been taken. Otherwise you already know the sim is pregnant and therefore making the test useless.

I've always believed this was By Design as per the attached guide. A Sim doesn't suppress their pregnancy symptoms until a test is taken as that wouldn't make sense, just as a human could have symptoms before they take a test and in fact that's why they take a test in some cases. It can vary by Sim, I just watch for the signs/moodlets.
A pregnant Sim is still a pregnant Sim even without a test to confirm.
I rarely use the tests, I just wait and see.

please watch this video from last year. The sim takes the test and is pregnant but you see the toilet has no throw up action. This proves that this is in fact a bug and not by design because how it working now is different to how it has worked previously.

Yeah after watching this video and comparing how the interaction is in my game, it’s clear it is an issue and should be investigated.

the attatched guide refers to moodlets. This is not a moodlet?? It is a self direction interaction that is meant to be only available after the test has been taken, as indicated in the video working that way last year

@rory_nuttI guess we agree to disagree but a pregnant Sim is still pregnant even without a test. The test adds something to the game certainly. But symptoms kick in at various times for my Sims.
While my Sims are pregnant they can throw up during their pregnancy at any time but sometimes it's the first indication when they are compelled to do it. I personally think it's realistic that way but we all differ.
I'm on Xbox Series X with all content installed.
Edit: it's not really just an opinion but how it's always worked in my game and is currently working. Either way I'm sure we'll get a response and if it's changed recently in other players games it could be helpful to state the platform/content.
It's unchanged for me as I've noted.

Be it realistic or not, it is not by design and has not worked like this before. Rory is correct and has evidenced how the interaction is meant to be working.

@simsplayer818If it was autonomous, fine but its not, it is a player guided interaction; previously it COULD happen however not manualy until a test is taken, it worked like that previously and should continue to work like that, like it has done for years.
