Afraid of the dark during the bright sunny day (Fear not cured)

@crinrict - It's just gotten worse and I don't I don't know where to post about this, but the same girl is now disregarding the autonomy setting as well. I have autonomy disabled for the active Sim. Always have had. Now she's cueing up autonomous actions like watching TV and using the monkey bars. Is there an existing thread for this? if so, please link. Or do I need to start a new one?

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.99.264.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All Expansions, game packs, & stuff packs
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Create a sim. Play with the sim and they acquire the fear of dark. From there, cure them. The moodlet will be temporarily removed but then returns even at odd hours. The moodlet gets stuck with the sim constantly experiencing the fear of the dark at all hours of the day.
What happens when the bug occurs? My sim consistently has the moodlet Afraid of the Dark, even when they no longer have the fear.
What do you expect to see? After the sim is cured, I expect the moodlet not to return.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes

I have tried removing the "afraid of the dark" moodlet using cheats, but it keeps coming back. I have tried disabling wants and fears in game properties, but that didn't remove the moodlet either. I have tried all the solutions in previous bug reports but they have not resulted in fixing this issue.

I still have this problem despite it being "fixed" by EA.

I am currently stuck with an endless Fear of the Dark +2 Scared Moodlet. Good job EA. Good job...

Also, apparently the "Fear of the Dark" breaks the game. Whenever I go to a festival at night, none of the vendors tend the stall because they are all paralyzed (stuck in place) from having the Fear of the Dark. This doesn't happen in the day, ONLY at night.
