Plants reverting to dirt pile after fertilizing

  Did not happen with change. Current footprint green.

I have the latest patch that was supposed to fix this issue with plants reverting back to dirt piles. I have been playing in a new save file and it is still happening. I do own all of the packs, live in Windenburg, and do not play with the ECO lifestyle options. The plants that have been affected so far:

• Daisy
• Bluebell
• Carrot
• Mushrooms
• Blackberry
• Strawberry
• Snapdragons
• Basically everything

My plants are not sheltered at this time, although it has happened to my sheltered roses and dragonfruit in another save file after the patch. The plants are all in season. No exception files that I am aware of, it just randomly happens basically every single Sim day. Sometimes if I save before 6 am (while my sim is sleeping) I can reload after the plants have reverted and it fixes the problem for that day. But sometimes it happens over and over even when I reload the save.

This has just happened to me a new save file 1 piece of cc (tv stand) was day 6 of 7 and all of the in season plants reverted back to dirt piles i own all packs apart from magic,uni,batoo,eco and dream home only happerend the once

STILL NOT FIXED !!!

I still need to harvest very aggressively, otherwise ALL my blooming plants revert to just planted.

SAME! I own every pack except Batuu, and every single plant I have keeps resetting, including the cowplants! My plants are all sheltered, and this happens with or without mods. The latest patch didn't fix anything!

I am having the issue of plants randomly reverting to dirt piles. Sometimes when I reload the lot, sometimes when the season flips, sometimes when I water the plants. I play with no Mods or CC.

- I own all expansion packs

- Flowers, vegetables and fruit plants. Herbs seem to work fine.

- Watering plants seems to be the main trigger.

- Plants planted after the last patch.

- Plants are not sheltered or inside.

- Some of the plants are in season and some are not.

- No Mods or CC.

- Latest game version.

- Residential 30x20 in Willow Creek.

- I have Eco turned off.

- No Last Exception files.

- No bee box.

Hopefully some of this helps resolve the issue.

I started a new game, in Oasis Springs, and yes, it’s still happening after the patch. I have sheltered and unsheltered plants, both affected. It happens to all of them at different times, trees and plants, although I don’t have every type yet. It always happens to a random selection after the gardener has been. If a Sim autonomously starts gardening before harvesting, you can be sure that you’re going to lose a lot, if not all, of the crop. I have all the packs except the kits.

I’m excited for Cottage Living but it’s going to get frustrating dry quickly if making money from plants is so bugged.

Thanks everyone for all the info and thanks everyone for the save they sent me. I've passed them on to EA.

It's seems this issue is still in the same bad state as before but it's good that we have a new thread that shows EA that there are still many are affected.

I think this issue is also more of a symptom with many causes which is why they fix one thing, others are still in the game having the same cause.

There's a few such issues (stuck at work, random visitors, lagging, sims doing nothing, etc, etc),

Unfortunately it's probably not possible to keep the underlying issues separately , especially as the report are very divers.

Please continue answering the questions in your statements, all info is helpful.

Randomly, usually in the mornings (5-8am)

I have Eco but the footprint is turned off. It happened in Neutral and Green when I had it on.

Just today, my entire garden (59 plants) reverted from fully grown to dirt piles basically all at once. This was a household started several patches ago, and I'd just replanted the garden a few sim days before. In new saves, so far only one plant at a time has reverted, and the timing seems completely random instead of only in the mornings. Also, on new saves, wild plants also revert to dirt piles now, at random times of the day and night, and in some cases never start regrowing until I travel and return. Essentially, the recent patch to "fix" the gardening has made things worse while not fixing anything.

-it just happened when the new day hit. No real trigger. It’s done this before

-most before but some after

-mostly but some weren’t. All reverted

-outside ones were. Season hasn’t changed in a while.
