Yeah I've got this as well - after the most recent patch I loaded up my legacy challenge and my sims are now listed as super siblings in the relationship panel. But they're married! It's a legacy save so I reaaaaally don't want to upload to the gallery and redownload to fix it because that'll muck up the family tree. Is there any way to fix this with MCCC or something?

What is going on with this please? I'm sorry, but this has been an issue for a very long time now. It is an issue with the game, not with players abusing the game by using mods or cheats or anything like that. This is unacceptable. Just so you know, not that you care, I stopped playing months ago because I could no longer take the buggy environment I experienced after paying hundreds of dollars for this game. You have lost a customer in me.

Re: Wives to SIsters When Entering Cas

★ Guide

Out of curiosity have any of your sims done any cloning (either the scientist career or with the Duplicato spell)?

After my main sim family had this happen, the components that seemed to add up for me, were:

Same sex couple/throuple - in my case m/m with mpreg enabled

Cloning (both magical and scientist)

The affected sims were all 1st Gen, so no parents.

My issues started when my main sim moved into his son's home temporarily to help with a multiple birth situation.  He and his husband were also in the club for that household, which had magic as one of the club activities. I activated the club so his husband would come to visit and apparently his husband autonomously performed duplicato on himself during one visit, because the next thing I knew there was suddenly a twin brother that had never existed before walking around the neighborhood.

My main Sims were in a triad (they were married and shared a boyfriend with all three having player to make it work). After the sudden twin episode, the boyfriend and the husband who was duplicated suddenly showed as brothers. It was annoying, but since it didn't affect my primary couple and the boyfriend and my main sim were fine, I let it go.

Then, a few months ago, I got Get to Work and decided to clone my main sim from the couple, so the boyfriend could marry the clone (he'd been constantly begging to propose to married sim and I wasn't willing to break up the couple). After the cloning, when I went into CAS it turned all of my adult sims in that household (the couple, boyfriend and clone) into brothers.

I tried using MCCC to delete their relationship and manually readd, but the main couple have multiple children and the game annoyingly won't allow you to add both male parents as fathers even though they were both fathers to begin with.

Fortunately, I was able to save most of the relationships via recovery, but unfortunately I didn't realize the CAS thing in time to save my primary married couple and eventually just killed the husband that had originally been duplicated and brought in an AU version of him from the gallery.  Anytime I need to use CAS in that save, I go through the annoying process of temporarily moving out whoever I'm going to edit and then move them back afterwards.

Nope, no way to fix it. Despite EA being made aware of it years ago, they haven't cared to do anything about it.

After the latest Sims 4 update i havent been able to have any of my married sims share romance options, i've tried clearing my cache, i've exited and re-entered the game, i've tried to clear hidden skeleton trait, and nothing works, i dont want to have to re-install the game, but i just cant get it to work. . Is there anything i can do?

Re: Married Sims cannot share romance options

@Parzival029  There's a known issue where the relationship between married sims becomes that of siblings instead.  Please check your married sims' relationships to see if that happened in your game.

If not, please move your entire Mods folder to the desktop, delete localthumbcache.package, and test.  As long as you don't save with mods and custom content removed, your saves should be unaffected once you add back the content.

Yea i checked that too, that wasnt the issue, i also dont use any mods for the game, but i'll check to see if deleting the cache will help

Yea deleting the cache didnt work. .And looking at the link wasnt much help either, i feel like im at a complete loss here with this bug. . :/

I think i found the issue. . . When you select a sim and go to the spouse's sim profile. . Under 'Relationship' it says 'Soulmates, Best friends, Spouce, and Brother.'. . But idk how to change that, as i've already tried to fix it in CAS but it doesnt show anything in CAS that needs to be changed. . Idk how else to remove that 'brother' trait. .

@Parzival029 There are workarounds in the bug report. The issue is categorized as a bug and needs to be fixed by the game developers. The more people that click Me Too and post in the thread the more attention it gets and the faster it gets till it is fixed.

Re: Married Sims cannot share romance options

@Parzival029  Since you mentioned the sibling relationship, I've merged your thread with the master bug report for this issue.  There are a few workarounds in the thread; if you've tried all of them, please say so, and hopefully someone will have other suggestions.
