[OPEN] Partnered Sims turn into siblings

@ImpySmodge Oh thats really distrurbing! This kind of glitch in your game and mine is very worrying. I can't believe it would even register that with a child?! Just a question, by any chance do you have MC command centre installed? Just wondering as you said the sim 'autonomously proposed'.

Hello! I'm also experiencing this bug, it seems to have happened after the latest infant update / growing together pack. I hope I'm doing this report thing correctly, I've never had to post on the forum before. I have attached a few screenshots to hopefully help the team understand what I'm seeing on my end.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Expansions - All  *Game - All except Star Wars *Stuff - Spooky, Luxury Party, Moschino, Tiny Living, Laundry Day, Vintage Glamour, Cool Kitchen, Perfect Patio, Movie Hangout, and Fitness *Kits - Blooming Rooms, Courtyard Oasis, Throwback Fit, and Carnaval Streetwear
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a young adult sim that has parents. Have young adult sim have a child with another sim. Marry a sim who is not the other parent to the new infant sim. Have new spouse adopt infant sim. After adopting, check the family tree, CAS, and relationship info panel and see that it has now made it so sim 1 (sim that had baby) and sim 2 (spouse, step-parent to infant) are now siblings! Along with that, the parents of sim 1 are now also showing as the parents of sim 2 in CAS, the family tree, and in the info panel.
What happens when the bug occurs? Bio. mom of the infant became siblings with her spouse (step-parent to infant) after the new spouse adopted the infant. The new spouse also automatically became the daughter of the bio. mom's parents. They are all in the same household. I cannot adjust the relationships in CAS, even with fulleditmode.

What do you expect to see? I would like to see the adopt function work correctly and have it so spouses don't become siblings after adopting their spouse's child, and so the family tree / relationships are the way they're supposed to be post-adoption.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes, but I have never had this issue prior to the new infant update.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes - the latest infant update.
Please describe the patch or change you made. The adopt infant interaction that came with the latest update.

I've also had this issue - with the Robles family. There has been no cloning whatsoever, and I only noticed it right as Doli died and it said that Jay's *sister* had died! I was so bummed that it was basically too late to even fix the issue. So no, it's nothing to do with cloning - at least, that's not the core issue...I've never once cloned any sim, lol! Unfortunately, I don't know if this happened right after CAS editing, or if it was while I was rotationally playing with their adult children. Given the other comments, my best guess is that it was after going into CAS (I almost always have fulleditmode on, as well).

I use mods regularly, and I don't know if it's because my house is full with 7 sims and a cat, and the game is just chugging, but my lesbian sims are constantly becoming sisters. i do edit outfits and stuff in CAS all the time, and cas.fulleditmode is usually on by default with mccc. I have since turned it off but the damage is already done.

deleting a sim just to re-add them and slowly add old relationship bits to bring them "back to normal" is painstaking to say the least. I did it once shortly after my sims got married and this bug first appeared for me. I didn't do it slow enough because the re-added sim died of hysteria from all the good things happening to her so suddenly. lol.

i did use the "adopt" feature before the wedding, but the correct sims were "mom" and "daughter" immediately after the fact. it's easy to get caught up in your sims going to work, cooking, taking care of littles, etc, and miss the fact that your relationships are messed up. For my couple, i wanted them to be able to take a break, go on a date, be romantic, but no options appeared except "offer massage." that was very annoying. I made everyone forget this sim, cleared her family tree, deleted her, and added her back in through the gallery, since she was someone else's sim anyway.

After this, I played a few days later and I noticed one of the adult sims had a romantic bar with her (toddler!!!!!!) daughter (same one adopted before the wedding). Maybe there was some kind of overflow? They were being romantic in a "group" conversation............. very weird.

shrug. idk this is just so annoying. I am a player who loves to edit sims on the fly. But as it is the only solution to the "sister" problem is fully removing one of the sims from the game and losing the history they have.

i wanted to give my input since this is still very much an issue that isn't as widely addressed as some other bugs right now

What happens when the bug occurs? My Sim A is engaged to Sim B, but when i check the relationship it is said to Sisters. The family tree also shows them being related. This is not possible, because i created Sim B in CAS, and Sim A is born in-game. They also have the Fated Mates relationship, because they are both Werewolves. They have two children together and two adopted children. When i open one of the childrens family tree, the grandparents on both sides are the same sims. Sim B is not supposed to have any parents.
What do you expect to see? Sim A and Sim B not being related.

Things i have already tried:

I tried editting the Household Relationships in CAS with cas.fulleditmode on, and i couldn't change them from sisters to household members.

I tried using the two Sims' sim id's to remove and add relationship with the relationship.add_bit {simID} {targetSimID} cheat, but nothing changed.

I tried copying the family by adding them to my library, making a new household in CAS and copying the family in, deleting Sim A and the children, so i only have Sim B. Then i moved the new Sim B in with the family, but they were still related. I did the same thing again, but this time i changed the name of Sim B, but still nothing changed.

Make sure to hit the me too. Have you ever seen it on an unmodded save? I believe EA's last post they were looking for save files for testing, but they can't use saves that have had mods/cc installed.

Sounds like all the things I've tried, too! This all happened when my scientist partner was told to clone himself. Been no going back! That's even after I removed all evidence of the clone from game!

Hello I m new here and i dont know how to make my own post so im replying to this one (sorry) but im having similar issues to these messages and other posts, two days before Christmas my couple ( married ) pie menu had NO romantic interactions it showed was "offer massage and serenade" I thought it was the new patch because my game broke so i cleaned that mess up and fixed it i had 0 last exceptions and still no romantic interactions HOWEVER each of them were able to do it to random npc sims... so i looked at another post here https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/Romance-social-interaction-not-showing-up-sims-4/m-p/6... tried the skeleton thing..repaired my game several times properly and then i used mccc to forget their relationships and cheat a new one didnt even work so i split the household and tired that didnt work the romance icon in the pie menu was actually just gone! but when i cheated their relationship it only showed the two things  (massage and serenade..) extremely frustrating espically when it worked in other games i had WITH ALL MY MODS but not the one i was currently playing in i removed all my script mods and it still didnt work so i saved that household and took them to a WHOLE NEW save file to see if it was the corrupted file i redid everything split the household it worked for maybe 10 mintues then as SOOON AS I WENT TO CAS to change fits came back to see the only to interactions and i was so upset i checked their profiles it said the married couple were uncle and aunt.... so relatives i right clicked to remove it. It was gone but still no romance even after i went all the way to create a whole new save file for this couple. i would go back in CAS and i have a mod (testing cheats all the time) so i dont have to type it in and i change it to wife i come back wait 2 mintues and it switched BACK TO UNCLE AND AUNT.... so ontop of this no romance between them and everytime i remove this relative thing it keeps occuring back like a bug?? and im so confused this has NEVER happened to me in all my years of playing this game . Pleasee could i get some guidance
