Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a sim go to an active career (doctor in this case), leaving family behind including infant.
What happens when the bug occurs? Infant's needs go dangerously low but there is no way to fix it while active career is going.
What do you expect to see? Adult sims should be able to care for infant, whether directed or autonomously
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes

I will report back without mods but with the bare minimum I have installed (all updated). It is a new save, only made when GT game out. My active sim comes home and the infant's hunger is all the way down and they are usually stinky or tired. My adult and child sims are usually fine.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a toddler or Infant sim...have more than one adult sim...then go to another lot while leaving the toddler infant and other adult sim home.
What happens when the bug occurs? When I leave the lot to do anything...my toddler and infant sims aren't being fed...their hunger meter goes all the way to the left and when i return home they are starving...I am worried that because of this the game might think i am neglecting them and take them away...The hunger meters are green before I leave. but when i return they are dark red.
What do you expect to see? I expect the game to see feed my infant and Toddler sims when i'm not on the home lot...if they can feed child and teen sims at school. and have adult sims use the restroom while at work, it should happen the same way for Toddlers when I leave the home lot for whatever reason.

Edit: I should add that every time the active Sim returns home from being at a different lot, the infant is not in the crib where it was left, but is laying in the middle of the sidewalk somewhere randomly in the neighborhood.

Also, it is impossible to take care of the infant even when on the same lot as it, because the Sim constantly picks it up and puts it down everywhere except the fricking crib where I want him to put it. I'll have him put her to sleep in crib, and soothe to sleep, and try to tell him to do something else afterwards, but instead of doing that action, he takes the infant out of the crib and sets her down either on the floor somewhere, or in the infant playmat. It is sooo incredibly frustrating.

I heard this issue mentioned a few times, but it was tagged onto another post. 

As usual, I expect when a sim travels elsewhere, the sim(s) still left at the home lot can take care of themselves or take care of the kids. This is true for when a toddler is left at home with one parent sim, when I come back, all the needs have been attended to some degree.

However, this doesn't happen for infants in my game. I took my child sim to another friend's lot for 3 hours, came back to the home lot and the infant's needs were all low in the yellow (when the child traveled, only the bladder was in the yellow). The parent sims' needs were all in the green. 

This especially sucks because I'm doing the super sim challenge where the child sim will be gone a lot, but I feel the need to age her sister up into a toddler so her needs don't deplete while she's gone.

What happens when the bug occurs? When you come back from high school, the adult will not have cared for the infant, their needs will have dropped into dark red.
What do you expect to see? The parent sim not only caring for their own need but also for the infant's

As stated above. I would expect my sims at home to be able to care for the infants when I'm traveling with another sim. I'd assume this also occurs when you follow an adult sim to their job or just simply travel with a sim the entire day. I just haven't tried it yet. I haven't played in a while and I'm trying out infants and High School Years at the same time so idk if this is a new or an old problem.
If you have a workaround or a mod, let me know. Hope this gets fixed 🤞

Hello to all.

  I've also had to deal with household members not caring for children while out with a different household member. So, it's not just the nannies doing this. In my situation? The mother is at work as a doctor. Father has a day off from work, at home with infant. When the mother's work day ends? The infant is in dire need of everything. I told the mother to do different things, to keep her busy. Told Father to care for the infant's needs. Mother ignoring commands, interfering with Father and infant. Father can not complete anything because the mother won't listen. Both parents have an almost level 10 logic and parenting skills. But still dumb as stick. 

       Please fix this nightmare. A good day and my best wishes to all.
