[NEEDS SAVES] [HSY] Teen Sim drops out of upon aging up instead of graduating [ Edited ]

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.93.129.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All packs and kits but Modern Menswear is disabled
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a teen Sim age up to a young adult while enrolled in high school
What happens when the bug occurs? Teen ages into a young adult and immediately is notified that they dropped out of school. They get the high school dropout trait instead of one of the graduated traits.
What do you expect to see? I expect my teen to graduate high school when they age up, not drop out.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

My teen Sim was an A student in high school, always studied and did her homework, aced all her exams... but when she blew out her birthday candles and aged into a young adult, she did not graduate. Instead, I was told she dropped out of high school and she got the High School Dropout trait. There was no reason for this. As I mentioned, she was an A student who had done well on her exams. I was pretty upset about not getting a diploma or getting to attend her graduation ceremony. I was looking forward to attending that event.

I want to stress that this happened AFTER the patch that fixed teens dropping out when they graduate early. This is NOT the same glitch. My teen did not graduate early. She stayed in high school for the full duration of her teen years and this happened when she blew out her birthday candles on the last day of her teen life stage. I am playing on short lifespan if that matters.

I have used cheats to remove the dropout trait from her and give her the graduated with honours trait but she still has no diploma and no graduation event on the calendar. If anyone knows how to get the diploma and graduation ceremony, please tell me. I'm not above using whatever cheats or mods I have to in order to fix game glitches. Especially terrible ones like this one.

This is happening to me, too. Every time. It's really frustrating. Did you ever find out a fix/workaround for the grad ceremony?

I am currently having this issue. It happened to one of the families I am playing with but did not happen to another family I played with. The family that it worked correctly with I was able to have the teen girl age up and was presented with the graduation notifications. With this separate family, when he blew out his candles and aged up, I got the dropout trait and notification that he dropped out of high school. Mods are installed in my game and were present with both families when being played.

My HSY has a bug- I have allowed my teen to age up into a young adult, but then get a notification immediately that they have dropped out. At first the graduation ceremony was available on the calendar so I thought it would go away shortly after graduating, but then another event occurred in between and now it’s gone? 

I have no mods and own most packs.
