How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.99.264.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All Of Them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Harvest Prairie Grass, Look For Item Found "String"
What happens when the bug occurs? Puts Debug Item In Household Inventory
What do you expect to see? A Useable Item - Possible One That Exists IN game Not A "String" Which I'm Guessing Its Game Code Being Called Not A Item, I Do not See Any Items Called String
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes

Hi @tomtomvader298,
Please move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Once you've done that, test the game and let me know if the issue persists.

hi! i have this too, on a never-modded The Sims 4 folder 
here's the save it happened in, about five minutes real-time ago
no lastexception was generated and it won't let me place the debug item, so i don't know what it's supposed to be

@EA_Solaire after almost and hour of grinding without the mods folder and the file deleted, i have managed to reproduce in a new save file, i attached a full screenie to show how much its taken to reproduce the bug EDIT: Tagged the initial asker
I also just found this same item (shown in notifications as "string" and not an actual in-game item) on a PS5 game with all expansions (and no mods since it's PS5). It is a new save started this morning.

What happens when the bug occurs?: Harvesting Prairie Grass with "Harvest All" will occasionally reveal a debug item. It seems to be called "string".
What do you expect to see?: Debug items do not come out even if harvested

There is a save before the issue happened and a save after that.
However, when I tested it myself, I couldn't reproduce it. (only tried 3 times)
Is that okay?
If you put in the notify.Glob file generated in The Sims 4 folder where this save is located with the save after issue happened, the Notification wall will still be displayed, is this file not necessary? Or, if there is a file that can confirm what I did at that time, would it be better to send it as well?
The location where the problem occurred is the location of the image below in the Galloping Gulch area.
The time it happened was a little before 10am in-game time. (You can check the contents of the Notification wall)
Unfortunately, I deleted (sold) the debug item after I took the confirmation screenshot, so it's gone from the household inventory. (save after problem occurred)
