When trying to interact with videos in the Video Station. Videos can't be used, they are inaccesible. The only option I get is to "Rename Video". I am even unable to delete them. The Video Station has become useless.

There are other families in my saved game that are able to interact with some of their videos. But there are other households where the Video Station memory was full and I can't combine or delete their videos.

Anybody else has seen that? What can I do to repair this? I've tried repairing the game and deleting the "localthumbcache" file, but anything has been solved. Please help.

@psusenas I just had this happen yesterday too! I thought maybe I needed to upgrade the memory on the station since it won't let me upload videos from the drone or record any more videos either. But not being able to delete the videos to free up space is kinda fighting that theory.

I can't upload any of the videos to free up space, or edit and upgrade the videos anymore so I'm just kind of stuck Frown

After Moving Household I Can't Edit or Delete Video Station Content

★ Novice

I moved my household from Strangerville to new town in Horse expansion. I downloaded a lot for them to live on and them moved them with all of their stuff. This included the More Views Video Station. I had videos still on the station when I moved. Now all I can do is rename them. No editing, no deleting, etc. I recorded a new video and was able to edit but, after saving and leaving the game, I can't do anything with the new videos either. I've tried deleting the video station and buying a new one but the content is still on the video station. Has anyone else encountered this? Any way to remove the content in the game or perhaps in a saved folder on my PC? Help!

Video station bug

★★ Novice

It won’t let me upload my videos on the video station, I click on the videos and the only option that pops is for me to rename it.

I have a chair for my sim to use and the problem only showed up after her ram on it became full and hasn’t gone away since I upgraded it. I’ve already repaired my game bought a new video station, and removed my mods to see if that was the problem.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so do they know how to fix it.

@jzemeida I've been having the same problem. Don't know if it's from the latest update?

Can’t upload videos on the more choices video stations on Sims 4

★★★ Newbie

I play sims 4 on my PS5 and currently have seasons, high school years, cottage living, tiny living, realm of magic and get famous. None of my other packs seems to have any issues but I’m unable to upload any videos on my video station. It’s been like this for a couple weeks now but it was originally fine. I’ve tried using both video station types, moving them indoors and outdoors, changing the chair, restarting my ps5 and restoring my licence but nothings worked. None of my sims can use it to upload so now the memory on the video station is full and all it will allow me to do is change the name for some of the videos but not upload any. I can still search for trends or reply to comments on the station but that’s it. Can someone please help me as I have no other ideas now.

Re: Video station bug

Hi!

I have the same exact issue as described in the OP. It appeared suddenly yesterday after the latest updates to the game. I've never had it before and been having streamers/video makers for years. I do use mods (MCCC) but I've disabled it, would my save file be useful then? I really need to get this issue fixed as my global superstar is suffering!

Thanks in advance.
