For rent residental rental bug - occupied with no name or eviction option.

This has happened to me several times now and I finally found a workaround. After the tenant died, I went to Manage Worlds and created a brand new sim to move into the unit (I did have to use the free real estate cheat because it shows up like they're buying the apartment and the unit was more than the starting $20k a new sim gets). When I went back in as my actual sim, it showed the new sim as a renter just like the others. I literally just did this so I don't know if there are any problems doing it this way but it worked and the rent price is the same as it was before the old tenant died. Hope this helps!

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Rent out a unit and let the occupants die.
What happens when the bug occurs? The unit doesn't show as vacant and I can't rent it out. The button "fill vacancy isn't there.
What do you expect to see? The name of the unit and the "fill vacancy" button are show up so I can fill the vacancy.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

My renters died and I got a notification saying that they were being vacated and their unit is now unoccupied. But I can't fill the vacancy and the unit isn't showing as unoccupied (I can still evict but not really, as it does't do anything). As a temporary solution I assigned the rooms to a new unit but I don't want endless emty units.

Hello, I got a notification about a fine to pay for unjust eviction, on my toddler phone??? When I check the panel of my sim I still have all my renters, and when I go on the lot, it says the renter is dead but I can’t re rent it, and the renter is written as “XXXXXXX” on the world ???…

I tried a lot of things but it seem to worsen the thing, right now I have the “XXXXX” renter and another one I made move in in hope of correcting the bug….
