Ok this is seriously silly....my sim is in wyvern hall and one of her roommates came home and took a bath...on getting out of the bath he immediately turned blue and froze to death...my sim is immune because she has the cold trait....even had a child sim go into a gym in san myusho drop dead from freezing....only affects npc sims though....
