What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Cats and Dogs, City Living, Get Famous, Get to Work, Get Together, Seasons, Outdoor Retreat, Vampires, Spa Day, Parenthood
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? One of the whims is to publish three books. I've published more, but none ever counts toward it (I've tried self-publish and publisher).
What happens when the bug occurs? The numbers don't tick on the three needed.
What do you expect to see? For the whim to successfully conclude.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system?

I've got the writer aspiration, and one of the whims is to publish three books. I've done that, both in self-publish and with a publisher, but it never changes from 0/3.
